Media identity crisis in Iraq: (A survey of students in public relations departments in media colleges 56 22
Abstract
Pluralism and diversity in the national, religious, and even sectarian composition are among the characteristics of Iraqi society. This means that there are many sub-identities in the social fabric, which may affect the national identity of the individual by being part of a large homeland, which has led to the emergence of media with multiple trends and intellectual sects. To the occurrence of a crisis among individuals, especially the youth group, the researcher seeks to identify the impact of this on students of media colleges, especially public relations departments, for the role they play in social and professional dealings with others, as they are individuals within one society and carry an Iraqi national identity, and not groups scattered on one land, Which means the need for a comprehensive identity as a general emotional feeling, especially after the American occupation in 2003.
